Well we only had one beer left in the fridge and this one was originally meant for me, but we ended up splitting it. Now I have had a bunch of double IPA's that didn't really taste much different from a regular IPA, and this one kind of seems to do the same. I must say I actually really enjoy this beer, it has a nice crisp taste and is very light and refreshing. I wouldn't get this beer for a strong IPA, but I do like the flavor. I have had a bunch of there products before and I would add this one to the list of quality beers by Sierra. The hops have a very powerful smell when you first open it, but kinda lack in the strong hoppy flavor. The color of the beer is lighter brown with hints of light orange and a small underlying layer of dark brown. It is really flavorful while still not being bitter. Lindsey thinks it's a little to light and would rather there be little more of a punch. She thinks if it is a double IPA there should be a noticeably stronger flavor and I don't disagree. Still all in all I'd get it again, knowing what I'm getting into first.
