Tonight my pick was a Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard Ale. I have tried many Stone beers in the past but never this one. The Oaked ale is a American Style ale aged in wood chips. This beer is fantastic. The smell has perfect hints of woody oaks. The color is something I always look at when trying a new beer to gauge how much was put into making it perfect. The color of this beer is a perfect dark brown. It has a translucent color that would not scare off the general beer drinker. Each sip I get a refreshing fragrance of oak and a wonderful taste of brown ale. I would give give this beer a 9.1 out of 10.
